Making connections in university courses are very important. In this History course I made many connections. Whether is was with others in the class or with the course material itself.

The material in the course was not always the easiest to relate too because most the events took place one hundred and fifty years ago. However readings sometimes made it feel like you were really back in history. The readings would make me imagine what was going on and what it was like back in those times. The material showed me how Canada became a great country and how Canadian society was created overtime into the society I now live in. Being a Canadian helped me be more connected with this course.
